Models are available in mild and stainless steel construction, include a multitude of different lining options and can be installed horizontally or sloped.
The drives are from an electromechanical range with adjustable weights for accurate tuning. Voltages and IP requirements can be offered to suit most applications.
Covers can be offered with either bolted or quick-release mechanisms. Fully enclosed systems use Trelleborg-type seals and enclosed shrouds.
Screens are usually of hook-strip design with manual tensioning or of a taper slot-finger design in the form of removable modular baskets. Typical media designs include square aperture and slotted aperture mesh, rod decks, taper finger decks, piano wire and perforated plate.
The utilization of contra-rotating electromechanical motors imparts both an upward and forward stroke to the main feeder body. The angle of the motors determines the preference toward either lift or conveying. The stroke can be adjusted from zero to around 10 millimeters in most cases.
Standard barrel-type solid rubber mounts can be used with the addition of safety straps. Alternatively, Rosta-style mechanical mounts are generally preferred since these restrict the movement in the linear plane and minimize throw during the final stages of slowing down. For suspension design, isolation rods and rubber mounts are provided along with safety straps.

Various installation options include Rosta, barrel or suspension-style mounts. Safety straps are fitted where relevant.
Rotex can provide either an open type or fully enclosed type interface with or without a rod gate isolation system for hopper bottom installations.
For floor-level installations, structural support stands are available onto which the feeder is mounted. Under normal operation, these stands need to be adequately secured to the floor or supporting media.
For all suspension designs, rod type support hangers and solid rubber mounts are preferred. Safety straps are supplied as standard.
It is critical that on any installation, there is clearance between the vibratory pan and any surrounding structure. The discharge pan requires around 75 millimeters of clearance to allow for any start/stop movement.
Where two electromechanical motors are fitted, both motors must be wired to the same stop/start switch and must be wired to contra-rotate.
For hopper-bottom installations, Rotex can provide either an open type or fully enclosed type interface with or without a rod gate isolation system.
