Lawrence became President of Rotex Global in January of 2020, becoming only the 10th president in Rotex’s 175 years as a company. Lawrence brings 26 years of proven ability to drive business growth in multiple industries such as power generation, machine tool, automotive and plastics processing equipment. Most recently, Lawrence was the VP/GM for Maag Americas and CEO of Gala Industries as an executive leader within the Dover Corporation. Prior roles included VP of Engineering for Warn Industries, VP of Engineering and Quality for Climax Portable Machine Tools and Director of Aftermarket Steam Turbine Engineering at General Electric where he spent the first 12 years of his career. Lawrence holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, an MBA from the University of Maine and is a certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma with General Electric. His passions include leading breakthroughs in innovation (holding 7 patents and serving for six years as a governor appointed member of the Oregon Innovation Council) and actively supporting future leaders in achieving their career aspirations.
Rob became Vice President of Global Machine Sales and Marketing in July of 2012. He has been with Rotex since 1998 and has held key roles in capital sales, aftermarket sales and product development. He earned his B.S. in engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 and his M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Cincinnati in 2002. Rob was a four-year starter for the University of Cincinnati men’s soccer team. He enjoys watching his three children play high school, college and club soccer. He gives back to the sport by coaching youth soccer in his free time; he also likes to play basketball and golf.
Darci became Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Lean in May of 2015. She joined the Rotex family in late 2014, focusing solely on lean. Prior to joining Rotex, Darci spent four years working for Hillenbrand and Batesville Casket Company. Darci has a vast background in manufacturing in automotive and industrial components companies, working in operations, supply chain, engineering and lean for Delphi Automotive and Parker Hannifin. She was the 2014 recipient of the STEP Ahead award for women in manufacturing. Darci holds a B.S. in industrial management/industrial engineering from Purdue University.
As Vice President, Global Manufacturing & Engineering, Jeff has responsibility for Rotex Global’s design and manufacturing process. He is deeply involved with refining business processes and developing operational excellence. Jeff started at Rotex in 1998 as a design engineer and has held many leadership positions in engineering and plant operations. Jeff is positioned to lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with value-stream business objectives. Prior to Rotex, Jeff worked for Ford Motor Company, where he developed skills in capital project management, manufacturing standardization, lean and process engineering. Jeff holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Elizabeth became the HR Lead for Rotex upon her joining the organization in March of 2019. Prior to joining Rotex, she served in a variety of HR roles at Hillrom supporting R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Field Service. Prior to Hillrom, Elizabeth served as a Retail Manager in the Indianapolis area, and an Executive Recruiter in the Cincinnati area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Ball State University. Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Her favorite activities include cooking and traveling with her family.
Brent Myers joined Rotex as Director of Finance in March of 2017. Prior to joining Rotex, Brent worked in various financial roles of increasing responsibility for Batesville Casket Company and FedEx Express. He earned his B.A in psychology from Indiana University in 2000 and his MBA in finance from Indiana University in 2005. Brent is actively involved with a non-profit organization in Batesville, Indiana.
