2023 Sustainability Report: Rotex Focuses on Associate Safety and Sustainability Goals
Hillenbrand, our parent company, has released its 2023 Sustainability Report.
In tandem with other Hillenbrand companies, Rotex has been pursuing sustainability goals that are aligned with the goals of customers, competitors, and the community. With focuses such as waste reduction, environmentally-friendly operations, and associate safety, Rotex is continuing to exhibit a positive impact.
In 2023, Rotex continued to focus on associate safety through plant improvements, strengthening our educational partnerships, and delivering solutions to support our customers’ sustainability goals.
Rotex was a key participant in the 2023 energy audits and has since installed LED lighting throughout its facilities in Europe and Cincinnati, OH. In addition, multiple pieces of fabrication process equipment in Cincinnati were upgraded to improve efficiency and decrease overall energy usage. Further improvements are on the horizon, including a more energy-efficient compressor and chiller optimization.
