What’s new at Rotex and in the industrial separation equipment industry?
Celebrating 180 Years of Excellence and Innovation
Founded in 1844, Rotex had the pleasure this year of celebrating its 180th anniversary. From beginning as the Isaac Straub Mill Company to the invention of the Rotex Screener and presently having a full lineup of industrial sifters and separation equipment, we are proud of our history and what it means to our company, associates, and future of the industry.
The celebration was marked by an open house event held at the Rotex headquarters in Cincinnati, where employees and their families were invited to witness firsthand our machinery in action and the processes that have made us a global leader in the industrial separation industry. The event was not just a celebration of the company’s longevity but also a showcase of the technological advancements that continue to be a cornerstone of its success. Most importantly, the event was held in recognition of all our associates, business partners, and customers, both past and present, for playing such a pivotal role in our company’s rich history.
The event featured presentations from Rotex President Lawrence Rentz, Hillenbrand CEO Kim Ryan, and Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval. Their speeches highlighted the company’s journey, achievements, vision for the future, and connection to an enduring legacy of technological innovation and advancement in the city we call home. The event was commemorated by the Ohio Governor’s Office as well as the Ohio State Senate.
As we step into our 181st year, we do so with a renewed commitment to excellence and a vision to continue shaping the future of the industrial screening industry. Our journey is a testament to the power of innovation, the importance of resilience, and the value of a committed workforce. Here’s to the next 180 years…
